ADP WFN Next Generation integration details

 ADP Workforce Now Next Gen - Import

After a successful consent, HR Cloud will begin importing your company information.

Initial import includes all users from ADP including terminated employees. Terminated employees are not notified about this import and they don't receive activation emails.

Please note that ADP Workforce Now Next Gen integration with HR Cloud supports the export and import of custom fields from sections Personal and Employment in ADP.

ADP Workforce Now Next Gen currently does not support the export of state tax forms, W4 forms, or Emergency Contacts from HR Cloud to ADP.

ADP Workforce Now Next Gen - Export

After adding an employee to HR Cloud, you are ready to send the employee record to ADP.

ADP Workforce Now Next Gen allows you to choose the ADP Hire/Rehire template you want to use when exporting employees to ADP. Templates can be configured in ADP under Process > Hire/Rehire Templates.

HR Cloud can use any ADP Hire/Rehire template as long as all required fields are either mapped through the integration or have a default value configured in the ADP template.

Once the initial import is completed, you can choose the template you want to use for employee exports from the dropdown in ADP General Settings.

The integration provides an option to choose between Full Hire and Applicant export using the selected ADP Hire/Rehire template. If Full Hire is selected and the employee does not meet all ADP requirements for a full hire, the employee will be exported as an applicant and can be completed in ADP.

 Employee updates for SSN, Birthday, Legal Name, Personal Email, Address, and Work Phone Numbers can be exported from HR Cloud to ADP. Please note that employee updates can only be synchronized in one direction. You can import updates from ADP or export updates from HR Cloud to ADP, but you cannot enable updates in both directions.
