How to manually assign a Performance Review?
This article explains how to manually assign an active performance review to specific users who were not included in the original assignee group
Manual assignment is useful when a performance review is already active and you need to include an additional individual outside of the predefined assignee group.
Important limitations
- Manual assignment is only possible for active performance reviews.
- If a performance review is scheduled for a future date and the assignee group is set to All Employees, manual assignment is not possible because the system has already automatically recorded the future assignment.
- If a performance review is assigned to a specific group (for example, a department) and you want to assign it to an individual outside that group, the review can be assigned manually.
Steps to manually assign a performance review
- Navigate to the Perform app.
- Open the People tab.
- Search for and select the employee(s) who should receive the performance review.
- Click Actions.
- Select Assign Performance Review.
- Choose the active performance review you want to assign and confirm the action.
After the assignment is completed, the selected employee will receive the performance review and any related notifications according to the cycle configuration.
