How to change an applicant's status?
This article explains the steps to change an applicant's status.
The Applicant Status indicates the current stage of the applicant in the application process. Only admins have permission to set or change an applicant's status. To modify an applicant's status, follow these steps:
- Open the Recruit app.
- Click on the name of the applicant whose status you wish to change.
- Once in the applicant's profile, click on the Status button located in the header next to the applicant's details (it will display the applicant's current Applicant Status).
- Choose the relevant status, add any necessary comments, and then click on Update Status to save your changes.

To update multiple applicant statuses at once, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Applicants list within the Recruit app.
- Select the applicants you wish to update by checking the boxes next to their names.
- Click on the Actions menu.
- Choose the option to Change Applicant Status.
- Select the appropriate status from the list and click Save to apply the changes.
Status updates and associated comments are logged and can be accessed in the Applicant Status History. To review the history of status updates, follow these steps:
- Select the applicant from the Applicants list.
- Navigate to the Audit tab to view all historical changes.
- Alternatively, you can find the information under Applicant Status - Applicant Status History.
