How to make bulk changes?

This article explains how to take bulk actions on multiple employee records.

Bulk actions refer to actions that can be taken for multiple records at the same time. Different bulk actions can be taken on different data sets. For example, you can create tasks, change positions, and change security roles for multiple employee records together.

To make bulk changes to employee records,

  1. Go to the employee data set under the People app.
  2. Choose the employees for whom you wish to perform the selected action.
  3. An Action button appears on the top of the data grid. Click the button and choose the type of Bulk Action you require. 
  4. You will see the options of Bulk Change PositionBulk Configure Security Role, and Bulk Create Tasks

 To Bulk Change Position

  1. Select the Effective Date at the top of the page.
  2. Choose which Field needs to be updated and then add the new Value. 
  3. If needed, you can add more changes to the chosen Employees by clicking on the + Add Field button in the top right corner. 
  4. Click on Update and confirm the changes. 

 

To Bulk Configure Security Role,

  1.  Choose one of the options from the drop-down of possible Security Roles.
  2. If needed, filter out which Locations, Departments, and Divisions the employee will be able to see. 
  3. Click Save

 

To Bulk Create Tasks,

  1. Choose the correct task type.
  2. Choose the due date,  reviews, notification, and other details.
  3. Click Save after you're done.
