How to send an account activation email?

This article outlines how to send an invitation (account activation) emails to an employee.

For every user account, there is an associated email id which is used to send all email notifications to the user.

Please note that it is possible to send an invitation (account activation) email only if the employee hasn't logged in the system for the first time and has a pending activation status.

To send an activation email,

  1. Go to the employee profile under the People application.
  2. Open the employee profile and click on the Account tab.
  3. Account email address is shown here. If the activation process is not complete, it will be marked as Unverified and a link to Resend Verification Email is provided along with it. Click the link to resend the email.

Bulk Send Activation Emails

Only HR Admins can send an activation email to a group of employees that have a pending activation status.

To send an activation email to a group of employees,

1. Go to System Settings

2. Under User Management - Users select the employees you want to send an activation email to. Please note that the employee has to have a pending activation status.

3. Click on Actions and choose to Send activation emails.
