How to set up the I9 reminders for upcoming document expiration dates?

This article explains how to set up I9 reminders when a document used in I9 is about to expire.

Documents included in this option are:

  • Employee Work Authorization,
  • Employee Identity and Employment Authorization ( documents provided for section 2)
  • Employee Reverification ( documents provided for section 3)

These emails are sent 7 days before the expiration date.

If you wish to set up the I9 reminders,

  1. Go to the Settings page from the left panel of the application.
  2. Click the Notifications icon.
  3. The left panel of the page lists the I9 Reminders link.
  4. You can configure when users will be notified via email that their I9 documents have upcoming Expiration dates. You can also edit the templates for each email.
