Onboarding Dashboard Overview
The Onboarding Dashboard provides a centralized view of onboarding activity, overdue tasks, role responsibilities, and onboarding performance metrics. This dashboard helps administrators and managers monitor onboarding progress and quickly identify pending or overdue items.
Available Summary Cards
- Total Onboardings – Displays the total number of active onboardings.
- Starting in 7 Days – Shows upcoming onboardings scheduled within the next 7 days.
- With Overdue Tasks – Displays onboardings that currently contain overdue tasks.
- Unassigned – Shows onboardings that have not yet been assigned.
These widgets update automatically based on current onboarding activity. You can click on each to get a full list which can be exported.
Review Overdue Tasks
The Overdue Tasks panel displays onboarding tasks that require attention.
- Switch between task views using:
- By Tasks
- By Assignee
This section helps administrators quickly identify onboarding bottlenecks.
Monitor Role Responsibility
The Role Responsibility widget tracks task completion by responsible role.
This allows teams to identify which departments or users require follow-up.
Analyze Active Onboardings Breakdown
The Active Onboardings Breakdown chart provides a visual distribution of active onboardings.
Use the filter menu on the left side of the dashboard to refine displayed onboarding data.
Review Onboarding Performance
The Onboarding Performance section displays onboarding analytics and performance trends.
Depending on available data and selected filters, this section may display:
- Activity trends
- Completion statistics
- Performance charts
- Historical onboarding insights
If no data is available for the selected date range or filters, the widget will display a notification message.
Filter Dashboard Data
Use the filter option at the upper right hand corner to narrow dashboard results.
Customize the Overview
Each of the above mentioned widgets can be removed or replaced.
You can add additional widgets:
- I9 task
- My tasks - each user can see only tasks assigned to them
Best Practices
- Review overdue tasks daily to ensure onboarding completion.
- Monitor role responsibility metrics to identify process delays.
- Use filters to analyze onboarding activity by department or location.
- Regularly review onboarding performance trends to improve onboarding efficiency.
