Weather Alert

This article explains different Weather Alerts that can be shown on the Announcement Feed.

Weather alert feature allows users to receive real-time weather alerts, such as:

• Earthquake and Tsunami Events
• Safety and Civil alerts
• Winter Weather Events
• Severe Weather Alerts
• Specialized Weather Alerts 
• Flooding and Coastal Hazards
• Environmental Hazard

For setting it up, you would have to reach out to your Account Manager.

While setting it up, you will be able to choose between 2 different subscription types:

1. County ( choose appropriate State and County)
2. Coordinates ( Latitude and Longitude will be displayed based on the address of a specific Location)

Whenever information is received about a severe or extreme alert and observed certainty for one of the system's active locations, an announcement is triggered and posted only to the locations to which it is applicable.
