How to assign goals as a part of a Perform Review?
This article will cover assigning goals as a part of a Performance review.
Goals can be assigned individually with no correlation to the review or they can be added as part of the review. To do this, Goal Tracking needs to be toggled when initially setting up Cycle settings.
If a goal is part of the review, the employee and manager can contribute to the goal tracking.
To do this:
- Go to the Cycles tab in the Perform app.
- Click on the Cycle name, and then the Review Period needed. (Goal Tracking should be set up initially for that specific Cycle).
- Click on the Review that is related to the employee that the Goal will be assigned to.
- Click on the Goal Tracking tab, where you can choose between +New Goal or + Existing Goal.
- To choose an Existing Goal, click on the corresponding button, toggle the goals you would like to be tracked within the cycle, and click Save.
- If you want to assign a New Goal, you can follow the same steps as when creating a new Goal separately, described here.
Here is a demonstration of the process described above:
Once added, the employee can now update their progress either via the Goals Dashboard or by clicking on the specific review under the Reviews tab (more here).
