What does Pending Task Status mean?

This article explains what it means when your Task is in Status Pending.

In general, Incomplete Tasks will be shown as "Pending" until other Assignees or Reviewers complete prior related Tasks.

This applies to any Task that has active Task Review settings, Mandatory Onboard Checklist Tasks with Reviewers or Multi-Contributor Tasks.

A message will be shown states that "Other tasks have to be completed for this task to become available." This means that that specific user viewing the message or somebody else has to complete a specific set of tasks that are prioritized in that specific task chain.
